nostalgia thread

time moves fast. people come and go. why bother with getting close to new people who will inevitably break your heart when you can just wallow in the digital world. not to sound like a grandpa or anything but the late 90s/early 2000s really is the golden era of all time this thread is to share our nostalgic experiences. when the present sucks, run away and go back to the past. let the nostalgia consume you!

aah limewire, the pirate boat full of trojans, viruses, malware, bill clinton denying his affair with lewinsky, and everything else. /anything else/. i downloaded so many mp3s that id burn onto cds. id walk all around school with my portable cd player, playing low-quality songs that teenage me really liked (all-american rejects, korn, all that shit) in full volume until my speaker gets confiscated. it was routine for about two months. idk why they didnt just fully ban me from bringing my cd player.  its death 4 years ago devastated the masses, and i will forever miss most of it. /most/ of it.

my n64. the one in the picture isnt mine, but satan, the amount of money id pay to have it.. anyways. the n64 was the first nintendo console id owned + first videogame console in general. got it as a gift on my 9th bday from my uncle. its obviously my favorite since its where B3N was born i remember, i always beat my older sibling in mario kart. they mained luigi, i mained mario. ironic since mario is supposed to be the older brother

there was a computer lab in my elementary school and gogooligans yahooligans was the only search engine we had to use. the site was like 90% entertainment/10% educational stuff since i remember getting so easily distracted by all the colorful ads and games.

also. i had a nokia e90. i still have it now.. id take a pic but. for some reason its under my fridge. and it stinks. real bad. i could try to reach for it but its probably like. rusting. or some shit.

honestly i get nostalgia from alot of shit. i get nostalgic about yahoo since its where teen me sent "cursed" chain mails to every person i knew. i get n0stalgic about youtube since i watched alot of dumb shit on it, like the hamster dance or ronald mcdonald insanity. i get n0stalg1c about. times were good. times /were/ good. so yea share your nostalgia. let us rejoice in our wasted childhood. or something.

One time in middle school, some jerk I hated left his computer logged on in the lab, so whilst nobody was looking I went to some, shall we say, 'illicit' sites, hehehe... Oh, he was in so much trouble!

Newgrounds was pretty cool, too. I always liked dad n' me, kikiki...
