Latest piece of my collection

Kikiki... Now, this may not be a sighting per say, but it's certainly an intriguing topic of a haunted nature...
Recently, I came across this bad boy at a typical sight for haunted collectibles... Some guy at a yard sale, hehehe!
This was in a pile of other ds games, which all seemed normal but on this one I immediately noticed the hallmarks: Strange colouration on the cartridge, signs of damage, different cartridge artwork, missing details like no logos or Nintendo Seal of Approval... Definitely haunted, EHEHEHE!
So of course, I bought it immediately along with a couple normal ones to try and disguise my purchase... Cost me about 5 bucks, kikiki! He said something boring about his son being in a coma he didn't look like he would wake from, yada yada yada, but once that was done I quickly headed back home with my new prize...

It appears to be masquerading as a normal copy of Platinum, no changed title on the card, heheh.
But don't worry, i'll crack it's secrets eventually. I wonder if this one will manage to so much as raise my heart rate? KIKIKIKI!!

That one resembles Cartridge 17. Could it be it circulated back into the wild somehow?

Not sure... I haven't personally heard of anything like this one, hehe!

Hehehe... I haven't played it yet! I must admit I do quite like Turtwig, but I don't even know what starters to expect! These cursed cartridges often have quite... unique pokemon available, Kikiki!

I'm pretty sure this is a bootleg but...It could be something interesting. Keep us posted.

I've seen enough of these things to be fairly certain it isn't, kikiki... But if it is i'll be sure to let you all know.

what was the vender's appearance?

what house did you buy it at?

was that house there on the day before?

did it dissapear after you left?

were there other people buying stuff from that garage sale the same time you were?

was the game in a game box? if it was was it also for pokemon platinum?

stuff like that.

Hehehe, alright... I'll give you some more details. The guy selling it was pretty normal, just looked like your average dad. But he definitely hadn't slept in a couple days, kikiki...
The house was a couple blocks away from my place, I always make sure to look for posters and signs for this kinda thing, hehehe. Not gonna say the address, obviously! It was definitely there before, it's one of those dime a dozen suburb houses with like 5 either side. I haven't been back but I wouldn't be surprised if they've mysteriously moved out, kiki...
There were a couple people milling about but they were all waaay older than me and they were looking at the boring stuff like furniture and old clothing, heheh... Of course these haunted cartridges always gravitate to the person most likely to give them what they really want- To be played, kikiki...
It was loose. They're always loose, heh. I would love to see a boxed copy of one of them someday, but it just seems to violate some cosmic rule if that happens, KIKIKI!

I wish i could find these games but there's no Yard Sales in my neighborhood. I wish my friend would give me his copy of Pokémon Heart Gold cause Pokémon Crystal is my favourite and you can make your Pokémon walk behind you!!!

Having your pokemon walk behind you IS pretty cool, heheh... Unfortunately in Platinum i'd have to get all the way to amity square, and who knows if you'll be able to do that here, kikiki...
